Expanding the Universe: Annabelle and The Nun

Following the achievement of the Mont Saint-Michel movie, the Chicago Film has already wiped out that other blood toy screensaver universes dragged along such pictures as Annabelle (2014) and The Nun (2018). Nurtured the objects and demonic entities against which the Warrens had fought in other films. Born out of the first instalment; the cursed doll ‘Annabelle’ was explored in a number of films that detailed how the doll came to be and how it. Affected its’ possessor.
The Nun was a spinoff film that centered on Valak, a demon who has the likeness of a frighteningly evil nun first featured in Conjuring 2. The Conjuring 2 and the Enfield Poltergeist postmodernist view on literature review.
The Conjuring 2 depicted the Warrens as working on yet another one of their celebrated cases: the Enfield poltergeist in England. Within their own domicile, the Hodgson clan went through the most dreadful phases of poltergeist love. Here again, it was the Warrens who became involved. Lorraine is also tormented with the images of a shadowy nun, a demon who is later revealed to be Valak. This film also goes further into Lorraine’s powers, revealing how she is attacked by the evil forces while trying to guard her love and family from those evil powers.
This one concentrated more on the relationship the Warrens shared emotionally but rather on the amount of stress that their vocation brings them especially Lorraine. With visions of Valak, she anticipates a conflict that will not only be against typical hauntings but against much darker forces.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
Of course, the eighth installment of the film… The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, (2021) moved the series to another more legal box, focusing on the spectacular and gory Arne Johnson murder case. This new direction, which is a departure from scenes of possession and moving to litigation for a change, was indeed welcomed as it required the Warrens to look for demons in the court of law and not in the paranormal universe.
The picture brought up the issues of psychological manipulation and dark magic and how civilization can beckon forth evil spirits. This part also depicted the Warrens difficulty over the consequences of their work, as the fight against the evil became more personal and more dangerous. What to Expect from The Conjuring: Last Rites
The Conjuring:
Last Rites will reportedly round off the story of the Warrens in an exciting but heartbreaking way. The title “Last Rites” suggests that this would be the ultimate confrontation between the Warrens and the demonic entities that have pursued them throughout the saga. Last Rites are also known as the Extreme Unction or Anointing of the Sick in the Catholic faith and it is performed on people who are about to die, therefore extreme situations are anticipated.
She will probably still remain the main villain of the story as the demon nun Valak should come back. Daunting though the prospect may be, the Warrens may have to face their most powerful enemy yet, and that is not the evil lurking outside but what their work has cost them. Ed and Lorraine may survive their fight with the supernatural in this film, but their faith and their marital bond will be tested, and the price may even be their lives.
The Conjuring: Last Rites
With The Conjuring: Last Rites still gripping audiences, fans and new comers feel that elements like horror, faith inert win with a psychological depth to create a rewarding experience. All along, their aim has been more than chasing ghosts – this has been love, justice, and the fight of good against darkness.
