The streaming site Johnson’s customers know best welcomes the Jurassic Park saga back without surprises, though. Please note that starting next month, the films of the franchise will be available on Peacock, except for one major reason, which is likely to disappoint a number of viewers.
Beginning on November 1, Peacock will make available on demand the first five movies of the Jurassic franchise. The downside, however, is that Jurassic World Dominion isn’t and won’t ever be there as this franchise film was released in the year 2022, year later than other parts were uploaded to the streaming site.
Thus, the fans of the franchise will not get the chance to view it on a single platform.
Jurassic Park started to entertain its audience in 1993, and it has already been three decades for the franchise. The first part of the movie Steven Spielberg directed – ‘Jurassic Park’ is about a people looking for Jurassic Park, an amusement park constructed on a secluded Isle, complete with engineered dwarfs like the shy E-Rex and the more aggressive Velociraptor, but that is until a power malfunction caused all security at the facility to be controlled.
The original Jurassic Park trilogy concluded with the third movie that came out in 2001. Later the franchise went into a long slumber until the year 2015 when Universal came up with a spin off joing Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the lead roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing.
Well even Jurassic World was more successful than Jurassic Park, and soon in the years 2018 and then 2022, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion respectively came out. The latter is so far the only movie in the franchise to unite the main characters of the Park and World trilogies, with Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill reprising their iconic roles from Jurassic Park alongside Pratt and Howard.
A New Jurassic Park Movie Arrives in 2025
Even though Dominion was deemed “the epic conclusion of the Jurassic saga,” fans are already hinting at the release of a new Jurassic film, julia called Jurassic World Rebirth in the year July.
Filming recently wrapped on the standalone Dominion sequel, which is set five years after the events of the 2022 movie. Scarlett Johansson leads the cast of Rebirth as Zora Bennett, a skilled covert operations expert who is “contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades,” reads the official synopsis.
Jurassic World Rebirth also stars Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein. Gareth Edwards directed Jurassic World Rebirth from a screenplay by David Koepp, who previously scripted Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
Jurassic Park, its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, and the two latest episodes, Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will be available on Peacock starting on November 1. Jurassic World Dominion is, meanwhile, available for streaming on Starz.
